For customer documents and customer-provided personal data, the customer is the controller and InlinePDF acts as processor. For account administration, billing, fraud prevention, security, and product operations, InlinePDF may act as an independent controller.

InlinePDF processes customer data to provide OCR, rendering, review, export, storage, support, security, compliance, billing, and service improvement functions requested by the customer or required to operate the service.

OCR providers, hosting, storage, email, error monitoring, analytics, and payment providers may process limited data needed for their role. InlinePDF maintains a subprocessor list on request and uses contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards.

InlinePDF assists with export and erasure requests through the data-request workflow. On erasure, documents and personal data are deleted or anonymized while legally required billing records are retained.
